Vita-Flex® Pure Lysine™ contains only pure L-Lysine HCI, a super-concentrated source of the essential amino acid most often deficient in horses’ diets. According to the National Research Council, “Inadequate protein or lysine intake results in decreased growth and development of young animals. Inadequate intake of protein or amino acids by mature horses may lead to reduced feed intake, body tissue loss,poor hair coat,and reduced hoof growth.” Pure Lysine can dramatically increase the quality and availability of the protein in your horses’diet, without significantly increasing the crude protein percentage.

Feeding Instructions:

Enclosed scoop holds 4 grams and provides 3 grams of lysine. Foals and weanlings up to one year: 1 to 3 scoops per day. Mature horses: 1 to 3 scoops daily. Broodmares,horses in heavy training or competition: 2 to 3 scoops daily. Increase feeding of large breeds proportionately according to body weight in excess of 1,000 pounds. Store in a cool,dry place. Reseal after each use.
