Acti-Flex Senior is a nutritional supplement specifically formulated for the "old timer" to help them stay flexible, comfortable and maintain a healthy weight. We used the same joint benefiting nutrients in Acti-Flex and combined them in a product for older horses that may have difficulty gaining or maintaining a healthy body weight.

Acti-Flex Senior is manufactured in an alfalfa-based powder that proves to be highly palatable. Probiotics are included  to help compensate for the reduced digestive efficiency of older horses so the nutrients that are being put in can properly be digested to benefit all vital systems in the equine body.

Type II Collagen is the major protein found in cartilage and is the newest ingredient we have added to our family of Acti-Flex products. Type II Collagen is the "glue" that holds cartilage together as well as providing elasticity within the joints.

Dosing: One ounce per day (for most horses) for maintenance. Start with a loading dose of two ounces per day (all at one time) for the first 7-10 days. Then reduce to one ounce per day. If your horse does well on one ounce per day, keep this as a maintenance dose. If two ounces per day produced better results, stay with this dosage for maintenance.
